It is nice that you promise to go to court to protect the interests of your European customers.
Judging by how strict your government adheres to court orders, this promise is not worth much.

Hence, any sane technician interested in data security will stay as far away from US vendors as possible.

This goes for all of US big tech, and chances are, the only reason people still use US services is, that it is kind of difficult to get out fast.

Yeah. About a decade ago Microsoft had fought a FBI order to turn over foreign data. Good for them: the case went to the Supreme Court. And that's why Congress passed the CLOUD Act (which Microsoft supporte, arguing that it was a useful step forward although there was more to be done -- also if I recall correctly it got them off the hook legally).

And now ... here we are! Yes, its nice that Microsoft is promising to go to court, and they quite probably will -- that is in fact better than caving without fighting. But that doesn't actually solve the European customers problems.

And you're totoally right -- this goes for all of US big tech.
